Ancestors, Mothers, Muses
Ancestors, Mothers, Muses has been in the making for six years. I found my mother’s wedding dress then gathered fabric, objects and words to make eight figures. Each figure is a world of story, memory, landscape and dream. In this difficult time, women can doubt their worth and their power to contribute. I want to use this work to bring women’s ways of healing and leading into the world.
What are our stories? What are the stories of our ancestors, mothers, muses?
How do we mend? How do we heal ourselves and others? How do we lead?
How can we contribute leadership?
