Ancestors, Mothers, Muses

Ancestors, Mothers, Muses has been in the making for six years. I found my mother’s wedding dress then gathered fabric, objects and words to make eight figures. Each figure is a world of story, memory, landscape and dream. In this difficult time, women can doubt their worth and their power to contribute. I want to use this work to bring women’s ways of healing and leading into the world.

  • What are our stories? What are the stories of our ancestors, mothers, muses?

  • How do we mend?  How do we heal ourselves and others? How do we lead?

  • How can we contribute leadership?
